Bring your own storage
Your files can live in your Azure account or on S3-compatible storage. A NAS can connect through an S3 endpoint such as MinIO: sync, sharing, versions and search keep working while data stays where you chose.
You can move already-uploaded files onto your storage too and, if you change your mind, bring them back and disconnect whenever you want. The security and backups of your space, though, remain your responsibility.
Import your data
Already have files on another service? Bring them into Fspool with a one-time copy: the originals stay where they are, untouched. From then on the imported files become syncable, searchable inside their content and versioned, like everything else.
